Your words come first

How to turn your lyrics into a song

A chorus does not need to be complicated
Give each line one clear thought. A repeated phrase helps a listener remember the song, while a concrete detail makes it belong to someone. Read the lyric aloud first: if you run out of breath, split the line.

Creative freedom, without an impossible promise
Bring the tone you want: sweet, strange, blunt, funny, or emotional. You are not limited to an AI-written draft. If you use generated lyrics, you can edit them before creating the song.
SendTunes does not promise unrestricted or uncensored generation. Its music providers have their own content checks, and some requests may be rejected. Google documents safety filtering for Lyria, one of the music models used in SendTunes. A generated performance can also repeat, omit, or rephrase words. Preview it before sending.
Keep the song yours to tell
Use lyrics you wrote or have permission to use. For a personal song, that is also where the best details usually come from. Describe your memory in your own words instead of borrowing a familiar chorus.

Will SendTunes write over my lyrics?
The own-lyrics workflow uses the words you supply rather than asking the lyric writer for a replacement. The music model can still vary the performed wording or arrangement, so check the finished audio.
Can I write funny or blunt lyrics?
You can write in your own voice, including jokes and direct language. Provider content checks still apply, so acceptance of every line is not guaranteed.
Do I have to write a full verse and chorus?
No. A short original message can be enough. Use the main app if you want more room for a longer lyric, and the iMessage extension for a compact musical message.
